Hello, Hello Crafty Friends!!!
I've been spending my week with a few NEW products from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog by Stampin' UP!, which will go LIVE on May 3rd. Only Stampin' UP! demonstrators are able to pre-order these products at this time.
This week I have combined the use of a NEW stamp set called Limited Edition along with TGIF Challenge #363. I'll be posting some more samples with this stamp set on my facebook page so you are welcome to head over and "LIKE" my page to see more ideas.
My take on the sketch is soft and elegant and I didn't steer far from the sketch itself. The color combination of Very Vanilla, Petal Pink and Soft Succulent can easily lend itself to a wedding card by simply swapping out the sentiment on the card.
Cardmaking Tips:
- Cut a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock to 5-3/8" x 4-1/8" and emboss it with the Gingham Embossing folder. Mount it onto your Thick Very Vanilla card-base that measures 5-1/2" x 4-1/4".
- Cut a piece of Kraft cardstock to 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" then adhere a 1" x 2-1/2" strip of the marbled side of the Sweet Talk DSP above the half-way point. Then wrap the Petal Pink Ribbon onto the cardstock as shown and finish off with a bow using some glue dots (I cut three separate strips of ribbon for this, to make it easier.)
- Use the Pearlescent Specialty Paper and cut two 1/2" x 5-1/4" strips then use the Lovely Labels Pick a punch to trim each end.
- Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of Pearlescent Paper with Black StazOn ink and cut it out using the Tasteful Labels die.
- Cut out two branch shapes from the Soft Succulent shade of the 2021-2023 In-Color Shimmer Vellum using the die from the Sunflowers die set. Insert these behind the horizontal piece of ribbon and adhere with glue dots.
- Finish off the card with some Pearl Basic Jewels on each end of the Pearlescent strips.
- Carry over a couple of the same elements to the inside of the card such as the Kraft cardstock and the Shimmer Vellum cutout then stamp the sentiment "celebrating you" from the One Happy Family stamp set, as shown below.
