Farewell to Sale-a-Bration 2019

I have an "ode to SAB" post today to bid farewell to one of the best Sale-a-brations yet!
So many items sold out and exceeded Stampin' UP's forecasts, which is awesome and disappointing all at the same time.
Stampin' UP! has yet again hit it out of the ballpark with their amazing products and I couldn't be happier with what they've presented to us.

I created a card that is CASED from the Stampin' UP! samples for the Lasting Lily stamp set. I altered the card in some ways to fit what I needed.

Whenever I need a card for a co-worker, I usually have to make it big enough to have 35 people sign it, so the finished size of my card in this sample is 5.5w"x8.5h".
This card was made for a co-worker who's mother-in-law had passed.

If you were to take a closer look at the Lilies, my stamping didn't come out quite perfectly so I had to accent the Spadix of the Calla Lily with my Calypso Coral watercolor pencil and blend it in with my blender pen. I know a few of us that have used the Distinktive stamps struggle with the same problem. I didn't take the time to resolve the problem but I have heard that if you scrape the top of the ink pad with a business card or old credit card, you'll remove the excess ink and it should help. Let me know if you've tried this or another solution! I would love to hear your tip.

Below are the products I used to make this card and some that I'm listing first are retired:
  • Very vanilla 5/8" crochet trim (2012-2013 AC)
  • Very Vanilla lace doilies (Occasions 2017)
  • Stylish Stems framelits (Occasions 2017)
  • Calypso Coral enamel shapes (2017-2018 AC)

Please note that the Lily framelits have sold out and are no longer available but you still have 2.5 days to earn the Lasting Lily stamp set for FREE during Sale-a-Bration.
You may shop at my Online Store or e-mail me for your order.

If you have any questions about my project or any of the products listed, feel free to comment below or contact me.

If you would like a copy of the current Annual Catalog, please contact your local Stampin' UP! demonstrator. If you don't have a demonstrator, I would love to send you a catalog to you.

Until next time...
