Monkey Punch Art

The Valentine's craze is over until next year and before I make another post I just wanted to share a special monkey card that I was requested to make for a co-worker's wife for Valentine's Day. Of course, this card could fit any occasion.

The card features some products from the Animal Expedition Suite from the Stampin' UP! 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.

I was instantly inspired by the layout of a card created by Stesha Bloodhart so I took the liberty of casing it (CASE-copy and share everything). Click here to view her beautiful card.

I'm a big fan of punch art and since I didn't have any monkey stamps in my personal stash, I've decided to do some research and seek out some monkey punch art inspirations.
This is my inspiration and below is my final creation.

Isn't he just adorable? I really fell in love with this little guy...
Keep in mind that all except the circle punches are now retired. It's times like these when I'm so glad I have the punches in my stash.

The cute little "pink" heart is punched out using the Owl punch from the Lovely Lipstick foil paper in the Sale-a-bration brochure. Sadly, this paper was so popular that it sold out and had to be removed from the inventory.

Here's another card using different background paper. This paper is from the popular Share What You Love Specialty designer series paper.
All current products that I used for this project are below. For the punches used for the monkey, please refer to the graphic above.

Thank you for stopping by! Please feel free to contact me for any questions.

Until next time...
