Sending her off with To a wild Rose

It's a bittersweet time for me at work because of a supervisor that I look up to is leaving our department for a job in another city. I will sincerely miss having her around yet look forward to the wonderful things she will do at her new job!

Naturally, I had to put together something special for her. I do know that her favorite color is purple (just like me) and so I set off to imagine what I can put together.

Our office group decided it was best to gift her a basket-full of Tul supplies, considering that a few of my co-workers have these office supplies including myself.

Here's the final product.

All the office supplies are purchased from OfficeMax. You can find their Tul product line here.

Aside from all the awesome office supplies, I created an elegant folding envelope mini album using the To a wild rose bundle from the Stampin' UP! 2019-2020 annual catalog.

This was my first opportunity to play with the bundle and absolutely LOVE the way it came out! What do you think?

Here are some TIPS for my creation:
  • I CASED the instructions on assembling the album from Emma. In my case, I used 13 Whisper White envelopes and glued the flaps together. I also cut 13 pieces of Purple Posy cardstock to 4"x5.25" to insert into each envelope pocket.

  • I made the album first being sure to have a front and back cover the same as as the envelopes then set it aside. After I completed my album, I made the front cover and glued it on the front of the album.
  • Notice I did make a matching tag and added it to the gift basket. I used the Make A Difference stamp set for the "sentiment".

  • I did use my Purple Posy ink pad to stamp the flower in the background. Unfortunately, this item is no longer available due to quality issues that weren't resolved.

All the supplies I used are shown below. Click on the item description for the link to the product on my website:

2020 Mini Catalog & SAB Color Coordination

Help yourself to this useful resource under the Tutorials and Cheat Sheets tab of my blog page!

**Be sure to print this out in high quality so you can see the colors and designs the best.**

"Bonanza Buddies" stamp set
The Bonanza Buddies stamp set was my very first item on my wish list from the 2020 Mini Catalog. I just LOVE the images and the whole Suite that Stampin' UP! developed. Naturally, I played around a little bit and came up with this cute and fun birthday card for anyone of all ages!

This card did involve alot of cutting so I would say it's more of an advanced level for making it.

I'm sure this is alot to take in but I encourage you to "ooooo" and "ahhhh" over the two catalogs for a while. I'm sure once you take it all in, you'll be able to develop your wish list!!!

If you have any questions or concerns, always feel free to contact me. If you would like a printed copy of the 2020 Mini catalog and SAB brochure, please contact your local demonstrator. If you don't have one, I'd be more than happy to send them over to you at no cost!

Cup of Christmas isn't only for Christmas

Hello & happy November!

Have you known about the versatility that Stampin' UP!'s stamps have? I fall in love with this over and over as I see other creative demonstrators and crafty crafters put together some out of the box projects!

I put myself to the challenge of creating an out of the ordinary card using the Cup of Christmas stamp set (2019 Holiday Catalog). This stamp set is not only versatile but it's the very first Reversible stamp set that Stampin' UP! designed. It's SUPER cool!!!!

https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/150491/cup-of-christmas-photopolymer-stamp-set-en

Below, I created a traditional 3"x3" card that usually comes to mind when you hear Cup of Christmas. I actually CASED it from pg. 4 of the Holiday catalog. Super cute and simple!

Now the challenge was to create a card that was completely different. I went with the idea of creating a Thank You card using colors from the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper: Sahara sand, Seaside Spray, and Terracotta tile.

Now you have a totally different look using the exact same stamp set! Think of the many ways you can use this set and go for it!

Let me know if you've given this a try. I'd love to hear from you!

 Until next time...
